The two independent Olsen altimeters show remarkable consistency in altitude (6184 feet and 6195 feet) and velocity (1007 feet/second and 1008 feet/second). With each altimeter controlling it's own set of ejection charges, the rocket is almost certain to deploy. This flight also carried an Adept recording altimeter. Redundancy is the key to success.
